Based on the design principle of the environmental control of underground railway station and the calculation method of the vertical wall attachment jet, taking a standard underground station as an example, presents the energy saving design points of air distribution for the vertical wall attachment air supply in public area, and compares the novel air distribution mode with conventional hybrid air distribution mode of overhead mixing systems. The analysis results show the remarkable energy saving effect of the vertical wall attachment jet. Taking a standard underground two-story island station as an example, the air supply rate of the air handling unit is reduced by 20%, the capacity of the chiller is reduced by 22%, and the comprehensive cooling coefficient of the air conditioning system of the underground railway station is increased by 17%. Compared with the traditional mixed ventilation method, the air duct plate of the station HVAC system is saved by 14.3%.
